Late for more than 5 hours. Was stranded in kanjirapally from 6 p.m to midnight 11.15 p.m. Late due to bus brake down and later with accident. At last we came by a spare bus. Prompt response from the driver and travels.
I have no words on how to begin coz all i had was unexplainable disappointment. First. They asked me to board a bus that was a connecting bus for the main kalada bus that would take me Chennai. The Kallada office people did not tell anything about it.And even the bus driver was unaware. After i questioned a million times they said they will make me board the Kallada bus that is waiting somewhere. Next..The bus kept moving until 7pm and what i knew was my Chennai bus should have been a volvo. The one i was in was a normal bus.And the people travelling with me were all abusing the bus driver. Next..I asked a co-passenger whats the matter and came to know that all are going to Bangalore. I was stunned.I asked him when will he drop me in Chennai bus and what he said was.."I dont know". I am a non malayali..so i cant speak malayalam. He did not try to listen me. Co-passengers asked me to get down and take an auto back to kanjirapally which was supposed to be my drop point. When i called the kallada bhs driver, they had already left kanjirapally. I was in an auto with some good luggage and unknown people. It in Kerala and a hilly region of kanirapally where u wont find a dog after 7 pm. The Kallada chennai bus had left by then. I called Kallada office and they kept apologising and asked me to take a taxi to catch the bus which was waiting after i called the driver. It was around 40 kms away from Kanirapally. The auto charged me 200 for 8kms and then i took a taxi even when i hardly understood their language. I am thankful to god and guy who helped me translate. The taxi driver was charging 1000 or more.I somehow convinced him to take it from the driver of kallada as i had only 300 bucks. The region was hilly and the driver was half down,i took a chance as there wasnt anything else. He drove like a formula 1 driver and helped me reach the bus.The fare was given by kallada driver. But but but, the pain i have taken the last night is unexplainable. If this was America i would have sued Kallada and RedBus. But i cant as its India. The places where i was dropped was so horrifying i was in fear of being looted or murdered. As i had good amount with me and i look decent enough. If Redbus wants to grow..then take action on this. I will be taking this in Social media too. I work in an MNC and will surely pass the message ahead. Ramakant Dadhichi HCL Tech people did not tell
