The bus was dusty and dirty. The bus came late and it broke down midway 150+ km to aurangabad at 4 AM. Till 9:30 AM, the drivers were just passing time telling all the passengers that one of the driver went to aurangabad to bring the dynamo that broke down. It was to our utter shock that at 9:30 we saw the other driver just woke up and he was in the bus all the time. We had to book a taxi and go shiridi after that. This is the worst experience from rebus. The bus ticket was also 1600 from nizambad to shiridi, but the next day it was 1200 from hyderabad to shiridi, and just a day before the journey it was further down to 1100. There is no control on how the tickets are priced. This is the WORST. I would give -ve rating if possible. AVOID THIS.
296 km from Mumbai & 122 kms from Nashik ,Shirdi is accessible via the Ahmednagar - Manmad State Highway, it is a piligrimage centre due to the 19th century saint Shri Shirdi Sai Baba, considered an incarnation or avatar too ,who lived there. Due to job options available for mainly unskilled workers, there is large amount of migrant population in Shirdi. Yet the literacy rate here is 70%.
