Firstly, redbus is advertising the wrong trip time for this route. It says roughly 14 hours, but what this website fails to mention is that there are two trips of 14 hours each making the combined time to be around 30 hours. I was about to take the train but opted for the bus because I was fooled by the shorter travel time incorrectly advertised on this site. The first bus goes from Mumbai->Bangalore and the second from Bangalore->Trivandrum. The bus and train nearly take the same time and had I known this before, I would've taken the train because 30 hours of bus travel is not fun at all. Plus, traveling by bus was expensive. No WIFI on either bus and the entertainment was bland. Take my advice: travel by train if going from Mumbai->Trivandrum or vice versa.
Worse experice ever. They will change your seat to whatever they want so there is no point in selecting seat in advance. Staff is very very rude, even a simple attemp to have conversation with them will result in your own insult. Bus condition is ok and was in time. If you have little self respect don't travel with them.
